DataMind Cookie Policy

Last updated: July 20, 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how Affect Group Inc. ("DataMind", "we", "us", or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on our marketing website (datamind.affectgroup.com) and in the DataMind application (app.datamind.affectgroup.com) — together, the "Sites". It should be read together with our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal information more generally.

1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They let a site remember your actions and preferences over time. We also use similar technologies — such as pixels (also called tags or beacons) and local storage — which we refer to collectively as "cookies" in this policy.

Cookies may be:

2. Categories of Cookies We Use

On our marketing website, we use all three categories below. Non-essential cookies (analytics and advertising) are set only where you consent through our cookie banner, or where otherwise permitted by applicable law. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time.

Inside the authenticated application, we use only strictly necessary and product-analytics technologies — not advertising cookies.

2.1 Strictly Necessary

Required for the Sites to function. They enable core features such as signing in, keeping you logged in, security, and remembering your cookie choices. These cannot be switched off in our systems. We also use browser local storage / IndexedDB in the application to preserve your work (for example, Brief drafts) between sessions.

2.2 Analytics / Performance

Help us understand how visitors find and use the Sites so we can improve them — for example, which pages are viewed and how visitors navigate. We use tools such as Google Analytics for this.

2.3 Advertising / Targeting (marketing website only)

Used to promote DataMind and measure our advertising. They allow us and our partners (such as Google and Meta) to measure whether an ad led to a visit or sign-up (conversion measurement) and to show DataMind ads to people who have visited our website (remarketing / retargeting). These involve sharing limited online-activity data with those partners, who act as independent controllers of the data they receive.

3. Cookies and Technologies We Use
